There has been so many debates as tho what makes one wu or wu fam, killa bees, etc but this ones here is tricky. Prince Paul, do yall consider him wu or not, after all he was in a group with Frukwan, before gravediggaz and then was a member of gravediggaz, and is very close to rza, so he's more or less in same position as cats like frukwan, even poetic, who were affiliated and are considered by wu fans as affiliates, so why not paul?

If you compare the first two Gravedigga LPs you will notice a difference in quality. Prince Paul was heavily involved in the production on the 1st LP. The result was an instant classic. He only contributed one beat on the 2nd LP and that album just didn't stand up quality wise. He's always been a dope producer and rivals only the RZA in bringing that hardcore, yet funky East coast sound. Now the question is, is he Wu? Not really because he was in Stetsasonic 1st then in De La. The Gravediggaz was a project started by 4 heads tired of being Shi#@ed on in the industry.

Thanks for that, and i do agree with you but one more question is this, do u consider frukwan or poetic as wu? if so why? as there are no differences to them or paul being wu.

As Wu Tang fans we all know who fam is (Shyheim, Timbo King, Buddha Monk, 12 oclock, 60 second assassin, etc.) and who the associates are (Redman, Nas, ) but when it comes to mc's like Fruitkwan and Poetic (R.I.P) it gets a little murky. I know their voices and flows are unique(just like the Wu) and they represent NYC and have ripped over RZA tracks and Fruitkwan's name sounds a little like Raekwon but other than their work with RZA they've never been featured on any Wu albums or vice versa.

I thought that Frukwan was on one track with Killarmy and Poetic was on some tracks with Shabazz, so I figure you can consider both of them fam.

rightfully so, frukwan has been featured with killarmy and poetic has been with shabazz and some more, but featuring does not make one wu or affiliated as nas and redman for example have featured heavily with wu and members, the difference with nas and co with say furkwan and grym reaper is that there were not members of a wu group and their style is very different, poetic sounds very wu, although the group affiliation is also tricky as you cant say tragedy khadefi is now wu just cos he is a member of the black market militia,
